Punjab Kings (PBKS) got off to a winning start in their IPL 2022 campaign by beating RCB in their first game. They chased down the 206 required for victory at the DY Patil stadium in Mumbai. Now they moved onto the Wankhede to face KKR in their second game of IPL 2022 on Friday, April 1.
Punjab Kings have faced off against KKR 29 times in the IPL having won 10 games. In the last five games between both sides, the Kings have won two games. However, this is a new season and they would like to carry on the momentum from their first win.
Meanwhile, IPL 2022 is a 10-team event with two new teams coming into the picture. Group A has teams like MI, KKR, DC, RR and LSG. Group B consists of CSK, RCB, SRH, PBKS, and GT. He comes to a franchise after having scored almost 1200 runs for Delhi across four seasons. He started well with Punjab and will look to get into his stride slowly in the tournament.
