The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) franchise unveiled its official jersey ahead of the all-important IPL 2022 season on March 18. They will be donning their typical purple and gold color with the tagline of ‘Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo’ printed on the back.

The tournament begins on March 26 when KKR takes on the defending champions, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Ahead of the clash, the franchise unveiled the jersey with a special message from their newly-appointed captain, Shreyas Iyer.

These are threads born with passion. The same passion that drives those who wear it. The flames burn deep within us stoking the fire to win. To conquer new challenges as we capture hearts, this is the uniform of the knights, the trailblazers, the stargazers, the game-changers – now, it’s time to shine.”
