RCB vs MI Dream11 Prediction

The Shreyas Iyer-led side has so far put on some incredible performances in the cash-rich tournament and is placed first on the points table with as many as three wins out of their four matches in the league. They would be hoping to keep on the winning momentum and maintain the top spot on the table.

Kolkata Knight Riders Team News- Aaron Finch Unavailable, KKR May Field Unchanged XI

Kolkata Knight Riders would be high on confidence after their sensational performance against Mumbai Indians. Kolkata Knight Riders rose to the top of the table in the IPL 2022 after defeating the Mumbai Indians (MI) by 5 wickets at the Maharashtra Cricket Association  Stadium in Pune.

Pat Cummins, playing his first match this season, stunned everyone with his batting prowess by scoring the joint-fastest half-century in the IPL as Kolkata Knight Riders chased down the target of 162 with four overs to spare. The Shreyas Iyer-led side played with an almost full-strength side against Mumbai Indians. However, one player that was missing from the squad was Aaron Finch. The Australian white-ball captain was roped in the by franchise as a replacement for Alex Hales.

The right-handed batter is yet to arrive in India as he just finished with his national assignment against Pakistan. He will be unavailable for the Kolkata Knight Riders’ fixture against DC on Sunday. Even if he arrives at the earliest in India, he has to undergo the mandatory three-day quarantine norms, which rule out his selection for Kolkata Knight Riders’ next fixture against DC.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are unlikely to make any changes to their squad for the match against MI. They are expected to continue with their winning combination.

KKR Probable XI: Ajinkya Rahane, Venkatesh Iyer, Shreyas Iyer (c), Sam Billings (wk), Nitish Rana, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Pat Cummins, Umesh Yadav, Rasikh Salam, Varun Chakravarthy

Delhi Capitals – Team News- Mitchell Marsh Unavailable, Expensive Anrich Nortje May Play Again

Delhi Capitals won a game against Mumbai Indians out of nowhere, and since then they have lost both their games in the season against Gujarat and Lucknow. They need their batsmen to step up their game because it has been their batting that is letting them down time and again. Though they have an awful bowling attack, their bowlers have stepped up at the right time to make sure that they are still in the game in crucial moments.

Though the in-form Australian all-rounder, Mitchell Marsh, is with the DC camp, he is undergoing rehabilitation at the moment and will not be available for selection for the game against KKR. David Warner made a negative impact in his first game of the season by scoring so slowly that sucked the momentum of the DC innings.

Rishabh Pant’s T20 game has gone down severely at the IPL level in the last 2 years, and with a weak middle order, it’s time for the captain to bring out his best game to pull DC out of the real mess that they are in at the moment. Pacer Anrich Nortje failed to find his rhythm in the game against LSG but since it’s his first competitive game in so many months, DC would be hoping that it is a one-off thing.

Delhi Capitals made a blunder in the previous game against Lucknow Sueprgiants by sending Rovman Powell ahead of Sarfaraz Khan in the middle overs against Luckow’s spin trio of Krunal Pandya, Krishnappa Gowtham, and Ravi Bishnoi. Rovman Powell is a genuine pace hitter, and although he has improved his game against spinners, it was not a wise move to throw him against quality spinners when a better player of spin was waiting in the shed. He scored 3 off 10.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) won their third game on the trot in the IPL 2022 after defeating the Delhi Capitals (DC) by 6 wickets on Thursday at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

Quinton de Kock’s terrific knock of 80(52) at the top led Lucknow Super Giants to a successful chase in the final over after the LSG bowling attack restricted Delhi Capitals to 149-3 in the first innings. Earlier, DC, who were put in to bat first, made three changes –  David Warner, Anrich Nortje, and Sarfaraz Khan were named in the eleven. Prithvi Shaw had scored 61 off 34, but the others put on 88 off 86 collectively, summing up DC’s night, who slipped to their second loss in three games.

Anrich Nortje, who was making a comeback from injury, had a disastrous night in his first-ever IPL outing in India. When Anrich Nortje was brought in in the fifth over, he was dismantled by LSG opener Quinton de Kock who took him for three fours and a six in the over.

He returned to bowl the 14th and bowled a beamer first-up. He then bowled another in the 16th and was forced out of the attack after having had bowled just 2.2 overs, taken for 35 runs as LSG gained momentum. However, Delhi may field an unchanged XI against table-toppers KKR.

DC Probable XI: Prithvi Shaw, David Warner, Rovman Powell, Rishabh Pant (captain/wicketkeeper), Sarfaraz Khan, Lalit Yadav, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav,  Mustafizur Rahman, Anrich Nortje
