When questioned about Rishabh Pant, the captain of the Delhi Capitals, Warner stated,
“Rishabh is someone I’d like to learn how to play one-handed shots from. He’s a young man learning the ropes of leadership, and he’s also a valuable member of the Indian team. I’m ecstatic, and I can’t wait to be in the batter’s box with him in the middle.”
The opening batter, speaking about the Delhi Capitals’ upcoming encounter against the Lucknow Super Giants, said,
“All we have to do now is put our best foot forward and play the entire game. The most important aspect of the game is fielding, and if we can hold our catches and field well, we can go a long way in this tournament.”
