Virat Kohli may not be in the best of forms in the ongoing IPL season but his fan following has not taken a hit at all.

He has been a fantastic batter for both Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Indian team over the years so one bad tournament doesn’t make much of a difference for the stature and fan base he has built for himself over the years.

Virat Kohli Gave A Priceless Reaction As Man Breached Security To Go Near Him

It’s no surprise therefore that there have been instances throughout his playing career that fans have breached security in the stadium to go near him.

The same happened on Wednesday during the Eliminator between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants. A fan breached the security of the stadium and entered the field. Kohli was fielding on the other side of the boundary. The fan ran towards him but three different police officers from three different directions ran towards that man. One of the policemen got to the man and lifted him alone and just took him out of the playing area. It was a hilarious sight as even Kohli was seen giggling the way the man was taken out of the ground.

Talking about the game itself, Kohli couldn’t score much but his side won the game by 14 runs. It was a high scoring thriller as Rajat Patidar scored a brilliant century off just 49 balls. His century to go with Harshal Patel’s brilliant bowling saw RCB cross the line. RCB had played eliminators in the last two seasons as well but they failed to go past that stage this time around under a new captain they are just one win away from featuring in their 4th IPL final.
