Lucknow Super Giants will face Chennai Super Kings in the 7th Match of IPL 2022 on Thursday, 31st March at Brabourne, CCI. The match will be at 7:30 pm IST.

RCB vs KKR Dream11 Prediction

Lucknow Super Giants threatened to become the first team to defend a target in IPL 2022, but late blows from Gujarat Titans’ batters David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, and Abhinav Manohar ensured it was Gujarat Titans who won the battle of the new teams. Mohammed Shami and Rahul Tewatia starred in the win for Hardik Pandya’s men.

Lucknow Super Giants suffered due to some bizarre captaincy from KL Rahul who persisted with spinners against two aggressive batters even as due made it difficult for the slower bowlers. Man of the Match pacer Mohammed Shami picked three wickets in a three-over spell with the new ball. KL Rahul was out for a golden duck before Deepak Hooda and Ayush Badoni scored half-centuries to bail Lucknow Super Giants out of trouble and give their bowlers something to work with.

Chennai Super Kings, IPL 2021 defending champions, also lost their opening fixture like Lucknow Super Giants, against Kolkata Knight Riders. Chasing a target of 132, KKR was never in a spot of bother as their top-order contributed collectively. Ajinkya Rahane top-scored for his team with 44 in his return to the IPL.

Former skipper MS Dhoni and the new captain, Ravindra Jadeja, proceeded to stitch an unbeaten 70-run partnership for the 6th wicket to bail CSK out of trouble. MS Dhoni scored his first fifty in nearly three years. CSK managed to put up 132 runs on the board but it was nowhere near enough for their bowlers to defend.
