Shikhar Dhawan would surpass former Chennai Super Kings batsman Raina as the highest run-getter against Mumbai Indians if he gets 24 runs more on Wednesday. Raina is now in first place with 824 runs in 834 games and seven half-centuries.

Shikhar Dhawan, who is the tournament’s second-highest run-scorer, is also 89 runs short of being the second man to reach 6000 runs in the IPL, following former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli, who has 6389 runs in 203 innings.

Mayank Agarwal’s PBKS, have alternated victories and losses in IPL 2022, winning against RCB and Chennai Super Kings and losing to KKR and Gujarat Titans.

Punjab have who won two and lost as many games in IPL 2022 so far and will be coming off a disappointing loss to Gujarat Titans, in which Rahul Tewatia hammered two straight sixes against Odean Smith in the final over of the chase.
