Mumbai Indians (MI) IPL Schedule 2022 Squad, Players List, Venue. The BCCI announced the schedule of IPL 2022 on March 6. Mumbai Indians, the five-time IPL champions kick off their campaign by playing against Delhi Capitals at 3.30 pm at the Brabourne stadium on March 27. It is the first of the 12 double-headers scheduled for this season. The second game of the day will be played between Punjab Kings and RCB at 7.30 pm.
The matches will be held across four venues in Maharashtra. Wankhede and DY Patil Stadium will host 20 matches each while the Brabourne stadium in Mumbai and MCA Stadium in Pune will play hosts to 15 games each.
The BCCI after a proper meeting with the state government has decided that 25 per cent of the capacity crowd will be allowed to enter the stadium to kick off the tournament. IPL 2022 will witness a battle among 10 teams, as two new teams Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans are added to the tournament.
The final league game will be played by Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings on 22nd May at the Wankhede Stadium. The venue for the IPL 2022 playoffs and the final will be announced at the later date. The final will be played on May 29.
