Former South African pacer Shaun Pollock, while talking about Prithvi Shaw’s absence from Delhi Capitals (DC) top-order, said that it looks like Delhi Capitals have got the feeling that they will lose a few quick wickets in the first 2-3 overs in the absence of talented young opener.
Notably, Shaw has been discharged from the hospital after undergoing treatment for a bout of typhoid but he is not expected to be part of playing XI anytime soon.

The 64th match of the Indian Premier League 2022 will be played between Mayank Agarwal-led Punjab Kings and Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai on Monday.
Previewing the game on Cricbuzz, Pollock said that KS Bharat has been moved to the top order in the absence of Shaw but has failed miserably. He elaborated:
“It’s massive. (Srikar) Bharat’s gone to the top of the order and hasn’t been able to perform in two of the games, which means they are continually getting off to bad starts.”
“We have seen on countless occasions throughout the IPL, particularly through Prithvi Shaw’s career, fantastic fast starts. It’s not ideal. It’s almost like they’ve got the feeling that they are going to be one down after 2-3 overs. Then the pressure gets to the other guys.”
Both teams have got one last chance, one roll of the dice to get everything right – Lisa Sthalekar on DC, PBKS

Former Australian cricketer Lisa Sthalekar, while talking about the PBKS vs DC clash, said that both the teams have got one last chance to get everything right. She asserted:
“Both teams have got one last chance, one roll of the dice to get everything right. It’s funny because it’s the two teams that have gone win-loss, win-loss. Based on that, Delhi are expected to lose and maybe Punjab are expected to win.”
Notably, both PBKS and DC have won 6 games each in the Indian Premier League 2022 and they need to win the remaining games to make it to the playoffs.
