Former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli, who has been very unlucky with his dismissals in recent times, was delighted to see the ball taking an inside edge of his bat and going for a boundary instead of hitting the stumps.

Virat Kohli’s luck was surprisingly in his favour in the 67th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) that is being played between Faf du Plessis-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday, May 19.

Before today’s game, in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 Virat Kohli had scored just 236 runs at a very poor average of 19.67 and strike rate of 113.46, including just one 50+ score that came with a below-par strike rate.

Meanwhile, in the game against Gujarat Titans, Virat Kohli looked comfortable out in middle and he played some sensational looking strokes.

On the second ball of the 4th over, which was bowled by Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya, Virat Kohli inside-edged a 128.5kmph delivery.

However, Kohli’s luck was good this time as the ball missed the stumps and went away to the fine leg for a four. Kohli was delighted to see this and he was celebrating his luck after the ball went for four. Also, Hardik Pandya conceded 14 runs in that over.

Also, wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha, who once again batted brilliantly, was able to score 31 runs off 22 balls, including 4 fours and 1 six.
