Karthik said he’s both excited and scared about confronting his former teammates, and that he’s also provided RCB with information on Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine.

RCB is confident enough, according to Dinesh Karthik, to pose a challenge to Andre Russel.

He joined KKR in 2018 and stayed for four years, with his club finishing second in the IPL last year, losing to Chennai Super Kings in the final.

Karthik was the captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2020 season, but he was fired midway through the season due to the team’s poor performance under his leadership.

“I have wonderful recollections from those four years, and I hold everyone in high regard.” On a personal level, the CEO is someone I am very close to.”

“To be honest, I’m a little nervous.” It’s assle if I was in a different school, and now I’m playing against the previous school.

“So it seems a little different,” he continued, “I’m excited and nervous, which is a better term at the same time.”
“I’ll surely attempt to give Varun Chakravarthy a mouthful in Tamil if he comes to bat.” The only thing I miss is being able to communicate in Tamil, as everyone in RCB speaks English or Hindi.

“From a batting perspective, Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine have been troublesome throughout the IPL.”

“They (RCB) wanted some feedback on that, and I’ve given my honest opinion, and we’ll see how well it has been in terms of how good we play.”

Andre Russel’s influence “We have a strategy in place for Andre Russel, and we know he’s a great player.”

On Wednesday, RCB will face KKR at the DY Patil Stadium, hoping for their first win in the Indian Premier League’s 15th edition.
