RCB vs KKR: Watch - David Willey Pulls Off An Outstanding Catch To Dismiss Nitish Rana

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) bowler David Willey sent back the dangerous Nitish Rana with an outstanding outfield catch during their match at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

Rana had come out with an intention to counter-punch after KKR lost two early wickets. He scored a six and a four off Akash Deep but he succumbed in the same over trying to go hard at the inexperienced bowler.

Deep’s pace was too much for Rana to handle on this occasion. He was completely hurried by the short ball and ended up skying the ball. It seemed to land in no man’s area but Willey ran across and pouched it with both hands.

It was the third wicket that fell on the night after KKR had lost both their openers inside the powerplay. Venkatesh Iyer fell to Deep himself while Ajinkya Rahane holed out to Mohammed Siraj.

The captain, Shreyas Iyer, looked in good touch and would love to take responsibility for the innings. Having taken over the captaincy, it will be interesting to see whether he can adapt and take his team to a strong total.
