A heated exchange took place between the 20-year-old Rajasthan Royals (RR) batter Riyan Parag and 31-year-old Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pacer Harshal Patel in the 39th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Tuesday, April 26

The young Rajasthan Royals batter Parag played his best Indian Premier League (IPL) knock in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore as he scored 56 runs off 31 balls, including 3 fours and 4 sixes, which is his highest score in the cash-rich league. His previous highest score in the tournament was 50 runs off 49 balls against Delhi Capitals in 2019.

Meanwhile, Parag smashed 18 runs in the 20th over of the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, which was bowled by death-over specialist Harshal Patel.

Harshal bowled a dot ball on the first delivery of the 20th over and on the next delivery Parag smashed a boundary. The RR batter ran 2 runs in the 3rd delivery and on the 4th delivery he smashed a six to complete his half-century off 29 balls. The 5th ball was once again a dot ball and on the last ball Riyan Parag finished things off in style by smashing a six.

After the over ended, there was some heated exchange between Harshal and Parag and one of the Rajasthan Royals’ substitutes was seen putting his arm around the Royal Challengers Bangalore bowler to calm things up.

Meanwhile, with the help of the 20-year-old Riyan Parag’s knock Rajasthan Royals were able to post 144/8 on the board while batting first, after the openers of Rajasthan Royals – Jos Buttler and Devdutt Padikkal – failed to play good knocks.

Also, the overseas middle-order players Daryl Mitchell and Shimron Hetmyer failed to make any big contributions as the former got out for 16 runs off 24 balls and the latter got out for 3 runs off 7 balls.
