RCB vs RR: Watch - Virat Kohli Grabs A Stunner To Dismiss Trent Boult

Virat Kohli might not have been in the best of batting forms but he is been very electric on the field. After taking a stunning catch against Delhi Capitals some days ago, he took another blinder to get rid of Trent Boult.

Kohli has been struggling for runs in IPL 2022 but he will be opening the innings against Rajasthan Royals as Faf du Plessis made it clear during the toss.

Rajasthan Royals Poor Performance With The Bat

RR had a great outing with the bat against Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore on the other hand had a horrible day with the bat against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their last game, but when the two teams met against each other for the 2nd time, RCB were on top from the beginning itself.

Earlier, Faf won the toss and chose to field first. His bowlers responded well as they got 3 wickets in the powerplay which also included the big wicket of Jos Buttler.

RR kept losing wickets at regular intervals and never got going in their innings.

It was a result of poor batting that Trent Boult had to come to bat as early as in the 16th over.

He tried to support Riyan Parag but in the 18th over in trying to go after Harshal Patel he gave a catch to Virat Kohli who was very sharp fielding at short mid-wicket.

Earlier Kohli had dropped Boult at the same spot when he was on 0 but Kohli made up for it two overs later when he pouched the ball at mid-wicket cutting the angle brilliantly.
