SRH are on a four-match winning steak and another win against RCB will take them to 10 points alongside Bangalore and Gujarat Titans. The match holds immense importance for SRH and their aspirations of winning an IPL title. They have been playing very well as a unit and will only be bolstered by the return of Washington Sundar.

Washington Sundar-Tom Moody

Apart from Sundar’s return, there should be no more changes in the playing CI given they have played so well in the last few games. Having said that there can always be tactical changes in the playing XI base on matchups. In this article, we take a look at Sunrisers Hyderabad‘s possible playing XI against RCB in Mumbai.

The SRH skipper will continue to open the batting for his side. That allows him to anchor the innings with the big hitters playing around him. So far in this season, Williamson has scored 127 runs from six games with one fifty-plus score. Against RCB, he needs a good knock.

The southpaw has found some form in the last after having a dry run in the first couple of games. He scored a career-best of 75 against CSK. He has to contribute more consistently in the season and help Williamson out.

Rahul Tripathi

Tripathi is 13th in the list of highest run-getters in this IPL. He has scored 205 runs and 34 of them came in the last match against Punjab Kings. The right-hander is keeping the scoreboard ticking in the middle-overs and scoring at a faster pace as well.

Nicholas Pooran

Sunrisers Hyderabad broke the bank to rope in Nicholas Pooran. He scored an unbeaten 35 against Punjab Kings and took his side home. He has played a few good knocks and the side will expect him to continue his good form.

Markram has rested control in the middle order. He has finished two back-to-back games for Sunrisers Hyderabad and the expectations from him are continuously rising. The right-hander will slot in at number five.

Washington Sundar

Sundar will expectedly return to the side in place of Shashank Singh who has hardly played a role for Sunrisers Hyderabad so far. Despite Sundar’s absence from the last two matches, SRH won both of them and now becomes an even better side with his return.

Jagadeesha Suchith

Suchith should retain his place in the XI given that he is a left-arm spinner and will form a good combination with the off-spinner Sundar. He took 1 for 28 against Punjab Kings.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar

The veteran pacer took three for 22 against Punjab Kings in the last game and showcased his range of experience. Bhuvneshwar Kumar will need to step up again as SRH takes on RCB. He has a favorable match-up against ViratKohli as well in the IPL.

Marco Jansen

Jansen has been bowling well for Sunrisers Hyderabad. IN Jansen and Umran Malik, SRH has two bowlers who can bowl at a good pace and unsettle the opposition batsmen. He bowled a wicketless spell against PBKS.

T Natarajan

Natarajan has recovered well from his knee injury and has been bowling well for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He picked up 1 for 38 in his spell to back up the three-wicket haul against KKR. He will be a difficult bowler for RCB to face.

Umran Malik

Malik concludes SRH’s probable playing XI against RCB in their next game. Malik will be gunning for Kohli’s wicket who is not in the best of form in this IPL. Previously Kohli had advocated for a bright prospect for the pacer after IPL 2021.
