RCB vs SRH: Twitter Reacts As Virat Kohli Gets Out For 2nd Golden Duck In A Row

Virat Kohli is the highest run-scorer in the Indian Premier League. But the legendary batter has been struggling for runs off late. He has not been in the best of forms.

He got out to Marco Jansen on the very first ball he faced against Sunrisers Hyderabad and got out for 2nd consecutive golden duck in the season.

Virat Kohli’s Poor Run of Form Continues

Virat Kohli’s highest score this season has been just 48 runs which he got against Mumbai Indians, apart from that one innings he hasn’t looked the best in the tournament so far.

Against SRH he once again just came and went away to the pavilion, facing just one delivery. Against the Lucknow Super Giants too he got out on the very first ball against Dusmantha Chameera. This time it was Marco Jansen who accounted for his wicket.

There was a time in the IPL when Virat Kohli scored 4 hundred in a single IPL season but now here he is facing the toughest time of his career. He had scored closed to thousand runs in 2016 but this season he has not been able to cross aven 130 runs in 8 innings so far. Nothing is going right for the batter.

He has also gotten run out twice in the tournament so far. That also hasn’t helped him at all.

The good thing for RCB though is that despite him being terribly out of form they have been able to win games and are in the upper half of the points table.

But such low scores and two back to back ducks surely warrants extreme social media reactions and that’s exactly what happened after his dismissal against SRH.

Here’s how Twitterverse reacted to Virat Kohli’s golden duck against SRH:
