Rajasthan Royals (RR) right-arm pacer Prasidh Krishna dismissed star Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batter Virat Kohli in Qualifier 2 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Friday, May 27.
Virat Kohli once again failed to perform well in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 as he got dismissed on the 5th ball of the second over of the crucial Qualifier 2 encounter. He scored just 7 runs off 8 balls before losing his wicket against pacer Prasidh Krishna.
Kohli opened the innings with Faf du Plessis and looked in good touch in the first over. He also smashed a beautiful six to left-arm pacer Trent Boult in the first over.
Meanwhile, on the 5th ball of the 2nd over, Krishna, who had conceded 3 consecutive sixes in the last match, bowled a short length ball just outside off.
Kohli wanted to play it towards the point but he only managed to get an outside edge and the ball went towards the wicket-keeper. RR captain Sanju Samson did no mistake behind the stumps and he grabbed the catch easily.
