RR vs GT Dream11 Prediction

Shreyas Iyer-led Knight Riders’ winning streak was ended when they were defeated by a spirited Delhi Capitals by 44 runs in their previous game. SunRisers Hyderabad defeated dominant Gujarat Titans quite comprehensively in their previous game and that win would certainly boost the confidence of the side to do well against another higher-ranked side. In 21 games the two teams have played, KKR emerged victorious 14 times while SRH has won 7 of those games.

SRH vs KKR Match Preview, IPL 2022, Match 25- Team News- Ajinkya Rahane May Be Replaced By Aaron Finch, Rahul Tripathi Fit, Washington Sundar To Miss At Least 2 Games

For KKR, Ajinkya Rahane has failed to deliver after an important contribution in KKR’s first match against CSK where he scored 44 and is under pressure. Kolkata can easily include somebody like Sheldon Jackson or Rinku Singh in the middle order and promote wicketkeeper Sam Billings at the top if they choose to go down that path.

KKR’s bowling, with pacer Umesh Yadav starting the proceedings in the powerplay and spinners Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine asking the batters a lot of questions in the middle overs, is certainly among the best in the tournament. However, Pat Cummins has been too expensive in the last two matches and is a cause of concern.

KKR will continue to trouble Hyderabad who are getting their campaign back on track gradually after losing their first two matches. Hyderabad has won both their last two matches, including their victory over Gujarat Titans in the last match which looked quite comprehensive.

When the Hyderabad top order gets runs like they have done in their last couple of matches, with both Abhishek Sharma and Kane Williamson firing, their batting lineup gets a different look altogether with the likes of Rahul Tripathi, Nicholas Pooran, and Aiden Markham getting the license to go hell for leather, something they are very capable of.

Rahul Tripathi had to retire out in the last match but fortunately for Sunrisers Hyderabad, skipper Kane Williamson opined that it was just cramps and Rahul Tripathi should be up and running for this fixture.

However, SRH off-spinner Washington Sundar is likely to miss at least the next two matches for his team in the ongoing IPL 2022 after suffering split webbing in his bowling hand. The 22-year-old has been the only specialist spinner for the SRH so far this season.

After a poor opening game where he was taken apart for 47 in three wicketless overs against Rajasthan Royals, he has bounced back to pick up 4 wickets for 63 runs across 11 overs since then. The spinner couldn’t bowl his full quota of overs during his team’s clash with Gujarat Titans on Monday night because of the injury.

The leg-spinner Shreyas Gopal and J Suchith, the left-arm spinning all-rounder, are two potential options SRH can choose from. They also have Abdul Samad, one of their retention, who can bowl some part-time leg-spin.

KKR Predicted XI:-
