Tim Seifert was picked by Delhi Capitals during IPL 2022 auction. The team bought him for his base price of Rs. 50 lakh. Earlier, Seifert kept a base price of Rs. 50 lakh for himself in IPL 2022 auction. He was part of Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2021.
Tim Seifert is one of the newest players in Indian Premier League. He made his debut in the last season when he was picked by Kolkata Knight Riders. The New Zealand player is a wicket-keeper batsman. He is a right-handed batsman. He has also represented New Zealand in the national team.

Last year, he was part of IPL 2021 auction. He kept a base price of Rs. 50 lakh for himself. Kolkata Knight Riders bought him for Rs. 50 lakh. The franchise picked him as a backup wicketkeeper for the team. Dinesh Karthik was the primary wicketkeeper for the team during the season. Hence, Tim Seifert did not get a lot of opportunities as Karthik remained the favourite pick for the team during the season.
In IPL 2021, Seifert was allowed to play just 1 match. In that match, he got out after scoring 2 runs. Hence, the Kiwi player has just played 1 match in the tournament so far. Ahead of IPL 2022 auction, Kolkata Knight Riders released Seifert from the squad.
