Delhi Capitals are coming off a tough loss in their previous encounter against Rajasthan Royals and they will be facing the Punjab Kings in their next fixture tonight. Delhi was looking to have to upper hand in their previous game until Morris pulled off stunning innings and showed the match-winning abilities he is capable of.

Delhi will have to rope in Anrich Nortje who is available for the Punjab game and Tom Curran could be the one to miss out after his poor last over in the previous game.

Ajinkya Rahane has had one failure and he will be facing the heat as Steve Smith is waiting on the wings to take the number three position in the team. Here are 3 stars from Delhi Capitals who can be game-changers against Punjab Kings.

3 Stars From Delhi Capitals Who Can Be Game Changers:

Ajinkya Rahane:

Ajinkya Rahane is not having the best of times with the bat in the last few years and is again under scrutiny after missing out on a big opportunity in the last game. He scored a single fifty in the last IPL and it was his lowest scoring season. But he can be a match-winner in tough conditions still and does bring in a lot of experience.

Rahane has some excellent numbers in IPL history and despite his struggles, he still averages more than 30 in the format. His strike rate is a big concern and he has been working hard on it.

His strengths will be timing the ball and he needs to focus on that rather than trying to play rash shots. If the wickets stick a bit, he is well equipped to be the match-winner in the team and he is due in for some runs.

Rishabh Pant:

On the Contrary to Rahane, Rishabh Pant has been in superb form for India in test series as well as the limited over series. His match-winning knocks helped India in Australia and ever since that, he has taken his game to a different dimension. He has been having much better control in his approach and has been taking the measured risks.

He was the top scorer for Delhi Capitals in the last game with a fine half-century and almost turned the game around in favour of Delhi despite early wickets falling. He has captained well so far and has kept it simple so far. He will play a key role again for the Delhi side against the Punjab franchise and looks the best out of the lot. He is a match-winner and it is hard to stop him if gets going.

Chris Woakes:

Chris Woakes has bowled really well so far in the tournament and he has formed a potent attack with the likes of Rabada, Nortje and Avesh Khan in the fast bowling department. He led the pace attack in the absence of Rabada and Nortje, and he can hit the long hits down the order as well.

He provides a better option for Delhi Capitals at seven and it is hard to leave him out now with his performances in the first two games. He finished with figures of 2 wickets for 22 runs in his four overs and has been the standout bowler for Delhi Capitals so far. He can swing the new ball in both directions and brought out the yorkers in the death overs in crucial times.
