Sunrisers Hyderabad has been going on a downward spiral so far in their campaign and their next game against Punjab Kings is going to be crucial to get some momentum. Sunrisers Hyderabad has been the only team so far to not have any points on the board and have lost all their three games so far.

The inexperienced middle order has again faltered and they will need to get in Kane Williamson as soon as possible. Warner and Bairstow have so good at the top but once they are gone, the Sunrisers do not have much in the tank left.

David Warner:

David Warner has been in good form despite the Sunrisers failing and he needs to play the long innings to take the home. His wicket has been very crucial and the inexperienced middle order is adding a lot of pressure on him to play at a relatively lower strike rate than the usual one.

Warner scored 36 off 34 balls in the previous game against Mumbai Indians and but it wasn’t enough to take the team as they crumbled through the run chase and ended up losing by 13 runs. He hit two sixes and two fours but did not rotate the strike regularly which made it very difficult. Warner can take the game away from the opponent in a very quick time and he will one of the game changers for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Jonny Bairstow:

Jonny Bairstow has been one of the positives for Surnisers so far and he has been demolishing the bowling attacks with some brutal power. In the last game, he was back to his preferred position at the top of the order and smacked the Mumbai bowlers to all parts in the powerplay.

He scored 43 off just 22 balls with four sixes and three fours in the innings and was unlucky to be dismissed hit wicket. He has been a terrific performer for the Sunrisers at the top and has given them a lot of impact innings. Bairstow’s wicket changed the course of the match and a lot will rely on him for Sunrisers Hyderabad’s success in the upcoming game against Punjab Kings.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar:

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has still not found his usual rhythm and has been leaking runs at the powerplay as well as in the death overs. He was brilliant for India in the limited-overs series against England and a lot was expected out of him in the ongoing IPL as he missed most of the last edition.

He has not been taking early wickets which is a worrying sign for Sunrisers Hyderabad moving forward. There will be games when they will have to defend low scores and Bhuvneshwar Kumar is an important member of the pace attack.

He has a lot of experience in the IPL and he will be hoping to come back strong after having very little impact in the first three games. He can be a match-winner with the ball against the Punjab Kings.
