The England all-rounder Moeen Ali was picked by the CSK franchise for 7 crores in the 2021 IPL auction after being released by the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad. Moeen Ali has been a revelation ever since he has come into the side and has had a large impact on the team’s success. He has been batting at three, scoring 133 runs in the 4 games he played at a healthy strike rate.

Apart from his batting, he has been contributing with the ball as well and he produced a brilliant spell against the Rajasthan Royals. RCB would have been very worried about the fact that they had let go of the all-rounder and Moeen Ali has been performing really well under MS Dhoni’s team.
