CSK Wanted To Win IPL 2021 For MS Dhoni, Says Suresh Raina

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman Suresh Raina has told that the team wanted to win the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 championship for their skipper MS Dhoni.

Meanwhile, Under the leadership of MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has entered 9 finals and has won 4 Indian Premier League (IPL) titles. In IPL 2021, CSK defeated Eoin Morgan’s Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 27 runs at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on October 15 to clinch their 4th title.

In an interview with Sports Tak, the left-handed batsman Suresh Raina revealed Chennai Super Kings wanted to win the trophy for MS Dhoni and the fans. He elaborated:

We wanted to win it for Mahi Bhai. We wanted to win the trophy for the fans who were not able to come to watch us play in the stadium. It was a difficult phase and a lot of people supported us during that time.”

Raina further added the healthcare personnel also deserves credit for CSK’s victory. He stated:

The people who have looked after us in the bio-bubble also deserve the credit for the victory,”

MS Dhoni Just Said ‘All The Best’ And Asked Us To Enjoy The Game – Suresh Raina

The 34-year-old told that the CSK skipper ahead of the summit clash against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) asked players to enjoy the game on the field. Raina stated:

He just said ‘all the best’ and asked us to enjoy the game.”

Meanwhile, Raina opined that when a team has a strong leader on the side, it inspires all the players to win the game. He stated:

The game is simple. When you have such a strong leader, then any player would wish to win for his team,”
