David Warner has been going through a tough phase with the SRH management deciding to drop him and reports have come up of him being stopped from travelling with the team. Warner was expected to be among the legends in IPL history and he has been one of the consistent run-scorers for SRH in their previous six editions.
However, the left-hander was sacked from captaincy in the first phase of IPL 2021 after SRH having one of their worst starts to an IPL season. He was replaced by Kane Williamson and Warner was dropped from the side as well. Warner did get two chances in the UAE phase but he managed just 0 and 2 in both innings.
David Warner Denied To Travel With SRH Team
David Warner has been missing out from the SRH dugout in the last two games and reports have come up of he was not allowed to travel with the team. The reports have certainly been a big disgrace to a player like David Warner who has done a lot for the franchise over the years. Warner will definitely want to prove his case if he gets another opportunity in the orange colours.
“David Warner wasn’t even allowed to travel with the team to the stadium last night for the game.” Mufaddal Vohra, a popular fan on Twitter tweeted after having confirmation from Boria Majumdar, one of the prominent Indian sports journalists.

I cleared this with Boria sir. I asked him Warner didn't travel or he wasn't allowed? He said he wasn't allowed.

SRH Out Of The Equation For Playoffs
Sunrisers Hyderabad lost again in the game against Chennai Super Kings and are officially out of the race for the playoffs now. They managed to put up just 134 on the board in their first innings and it wasn’t enough against a strong CSK side. Rayudu and Dhoni steered Chennai home with 6 wickets in the hand and through the win, CSK has sealed their spot in the playoffs as well.
With the mega auction coming up next year, SRH will now be looking into players to be retained in the upcoming games.
