Sanju Samson went cheaply, however, other batsmen namely Evin Lewis (36 off 21), Yashasvi Jaiswal (49 off 36), Sanju Samson (4 off 5) and Liam Livingstone (25 off 17) made significant contributions.
Rajasthan Royals, at one stage, looked like reaching the 200-run mark, however, Shami and Arshdeep bowled beautifully in the death overs to restrict them to 185. Punjab was equally brilliant with the bat as KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal batted wonderfully in the second innings.
Punjab had the game in their grasp till the 18th over of the innings, however, two sensational last two overs from Muztafizur Rahman and Kartik Tyagi helped RR snatch victory from Punjab, winning the game by just 2 runs. Tyagi gave only 1 run in the final over to register an improbable victory for the side. Kartik Tyagi finished with figures of 2 for 29 in 4 overs.
