DC vs RR: Weather Forecast And Pitch Report of Sheikh Zayed Stadium- IPL 2021 Match 36. Rajasthan Royals (RR) will take on Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 36th match of the IPL 2021 on Saturday at Sheikh Zayed Stadium. RR would be ecstatic after registering a win by just 2 runs against Punjab Kings in their last game.

There have plenty of positives to talk about. Their batting looks a lot more assured now. The presence of Evin Lewis and Liam Livingstone has made them a formidable batting unit.

In their last game, Ewin Lewis (36 off 21) and young Yashavsi Jaiswal (49 off 36) gave a solid opening partnership and set the tone for a big score. Liam Livingstone ( 25 off 17) and Mahipal Lomror (43 off 17) made vital contributions in the middle order as RR notched 185 runs in the first innings. At one stage, it looked like Rajasthan would post a 200-plus total but Punjab made a great comeback in the death overs.

The bowlers, however, presented disappointing numbers. The fielders too, disappointed, by dropping a number of catches. Punjab have maintained the required-run rate throughout the innings. However, the last two overs saw the game turn in Rajasthan’s favour. Mustafizur Rahman and Kartik Tyagi defended only 7 runs in the final two overs to help the team win the game in the end.

Rajasthan Royals now find themselves at fifth position with 4 wins in 8 matches and have certainly boosted their chances of making it into the playoffs.

Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, are also coming off a clinical 8-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad and wouldn’t be short of confidence. They have been the most dominant team this season, having recorded 7 wins in 9 matches.

On Wednesday, they played their first game of the UAE leg against Sunrisers Hyderabad and faced little trouble in defeating them. Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada ran through SRH’s batting lineup as the duo combined to pick five wickets between them. Axar Patel also picked 2 for 21 as Sunrisers Hyderbad managed only 134 runs in the first innings.

Delhi Capitals chased down the target in just 17.5 overs. Shikhar Dhawan continued his good run of form, playing a sensible 42-run knock off 37 balls. Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant guided the team home, having stayed unbeaten on 47 and 35 respectively.

Delhi Capitals are currently sitting at the top of the table and would want to maintain that spot going ahead as well.

The 36th match of IPL 2021 will be played between Delhi Capitals and RR at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium on Saturday. Both the teams will be playing their first match at Shiekh Zayed Stadium this season. Two games have been played at this venue so far in this season. The fast bowlers have enjoyed bowling here as there is adequate bounce on the surface.

Having said that, the turf is great for batting as you don’t see awkward bounce and a lot of spin. The last between KKR and MI was played here. As many as three players scored half-centuries during the match. Spinners aren’t going to get a lot of help from the turf. Anything between 160 and 180 should be a winning score.

Average 1st Inns scores 140
Average 2nd Inns scores 129

Abu Dhabi is expected to be hot and humid. The conditions here should suggest that there is no possibility of rain. One could expect a good game of cricket. The average temperature will hover around 42-degree Celsius.
