Mumbai Indians have always had an excellent bowling lineup with a lot of Indian stars and they will be looking to continue their dominance in the Indian premier league. Mumbai Indians have made it two in a row with the IPL title and have released Lasith Malinga, Mitch McClenaghan, James Pattinson, Nathan Coulter-Nile from the squad ahead of the auction.

They have also brought in the services of Adam Milne, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Piyush Chawla in the auction and have strengthened their bowling department. They have also roped in Arjun Tendulkar, the left-arm seamer from Mumbai which will be a great learning curve for the youngster.

5. Nathan Coulter Nile

Nathan Coulter Nile did not have the best of IPL last year, but he has still got the goods in him and will be handy for the Mumbai Indians. He missed a lot of games in the last edition due to injury, and could not get into his groove. He picked up 5 wickets in the 7 games he played.

However, his IPL record over the years has been impressive and has taken 41 wickets in his 33 games in his IPL career. Mumbai will be hoping that he stays fit throughout the tournament and he could take a lot of wickets if gets his rhythm back.

4. Rahul Chahar

Rahul Chahar impressed in his debut season in the IPL and his performances earned his maiden call-up for the national side. The leg spinner has a knack for picking up wickets and giving breakthroughs which Mumbai will be looking to take advantage of.

He finished with 15 wickets in the 15 games he played last year and has been economical always. He has struggled a bit against left-handers which made the Mumbai Indians go for Piyush Chawla in the auction.

3. Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya will look to resume bowling in the IPL after a long break from rolling his arms due to injuries. He has always been a wicket-taker for Mumbai Indians even if he goes for a lot of runs. He picked up 18 wickets in the 13 games in the 2019 IPL and proved his abilities with the ball.

With the World cup coming up this year, India will need Hardik Pandya to start bowling and get into his groove desperately. He is a clever bowler and can vary his pace with a lot of slower bouncers making it hard for the batsman to hit him.

2. Trent Boult

Trent Boult finally found his best in the IPL last year as he picked up 25 wickets in 15 games and finished as the third-highest wicket-taker for the season. Boult was unplayable with the new ball and swung it both ways in the 2020 IPL.

He played a crucial part in the title retention for Mumbai Indians and will be key to their success this time around too. He has taken 63 wickets in his 48 game IPL career.

Jasprit Bumrah is one of the best in the business when it comes to IPL and has been a match-winner for the Mumbai Indians for a long time now. He has taken over the reins from Lasith Malinga and followed his footsteps to become a star for Indian cricket.

Bumrah finished as the second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament last year picking up 27 wickets in 15 games and formed a great partnership with Boult with the new ball.
