Rajasthan Royals’ most memorable match in IPL is the final of the first edition. Rajasthan Royals, under skipper Shane Warne, won the IPL trophy in 2008 after defeating Chennai Super Kings. The match went to the final ball when RR pulled a victory. Batting first, Chennai Super Kings scored 163/5 in 20 overs. Suresh Raina (43) and Parthiv Patel (38) were the highest run-scorers for Chennai Super Kings.

In the 2nd innings, Yusuf Pathan scored 56 runs for Rajasthan Royals. After railing at 143-7 at one stage, it was a nail-biting match for both teams. Rajasthan Royals needed one run off the last ball but they were able to win the match by 3 wickets.

Rajasthan Royals vs Punjab Kings match in IPL 2020 is the highest successful chase ever registered in IPL. Punjab Kings smashed 223 runs on the scoreboard after the loss of 2 wickets while batting first. Skipper KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal starred with their 69 and 106 run knocks respectively.

In response, Steve Smith and Sanju Samson smashed half-centuries for Rajasthan Royals. Rahul Tewatia gained the limelight after he hit 5 sixes of Sheldon Cottrell’s over. The overturned the match in Rajasthan Royals’ favour who won the match by 6 wickets in the end.

Rajasthan Royals vs Kolkata Knight Riders match in IPL 2014 is a special one as the result came through boundary counts. Both the teams scored equal runs and the match went to the super over. However, both the teams again scored equal runs in the super over and Rajasthan Royals were declared winners on the basis of boundary counts.

Rajasthan Royals batted first in the match and scored 152/5 with Ajinkya Rahane hitting 72 runs. Batting 2nd, Gautam Gambhir scored 45 runs for Kolkata Knight Riders. KKR reached 152/8 in 20 overs and the match ended in a tie.

Rajasthan Royals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad match in IPL 2015 was another nail-biting game that ended on the very last ball. Sunrisers Hyderabad scored only 127/5 while batting first. However, they gave a tough fight to Rajasthan Royals in the 2nd innings with good bowling.
