IPL 2021: DC vs SRH- Prediction, Who Will Win The Match Between Delhi Capitals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad? Sunrisers Hyderabad lock horns with Delhi Capitals in the 33rd match of IPL 2021 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.
Out of the two teams, Delhi Capitals would be the happier side, keeping in mind how they have fared this year in IPL 2021. Out of 8 matches they have played in the first leg of IPL 2021 in India, Rishabh Pant and Co. managed to win on 6 occasions.
They have only lost two matches this season. Their two world-class openers, Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant have been at the forefront of the victorious. The duo has been sensational at the top of the order, having managed to give blistering starts to the team.
Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw are their two leading run-scorers in IPL 2021. Dhawan, in fact, has scored the most runs by any batsman this season with 380 runs in 8 matches at an average of 54.29.
The other batsmen, however, hasn’t instilled a lot of confidence in their performances. The return of Shreyas Iyer in the batting line-up would come as a big boost for them. Rishabh Pant hasn’t been consistent enough and he would be hopeful of making betters returns in the remainder of the season.
Ravi Ashwin, who has been selected in India’s T20 World Cup squad, would be leading the spin department alongside Axar Patel and Amit Mishra. In Avesh Khan, they have found a potential wicket-taker. He had led the way with the ball with 14 wickets to his name. His performance kept Anrich Nortje out of the playing XI. With Shreyas Iyer returning to the playing XI, Nortje might replace Steve Smith on Wednesday.
Jonny Bairstow was their standout batsman in the first leg of the tournament. Sadly, he won’t be available for them in UAE. David Warner made forgettable returns in the first half. Owing to his inconsistent performances with the bat, Warner was dropped from their last game with Williamson taking the charge.
Ahead of the second leg of IPL 2021, Warner will have a chance to redeem himself. He would be keen to start strongly and help the team win the match against DC on Friday. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natarajan will return to the playing XI and these are all positive signs for them. However, the margin of error is very less for them as they can’t afford to lose a game from here.
