IPL 2021: DC vs SRH- Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) Predicted Playing XI Against Delhi Capitals (DC). Sunrisers Hyderabad will probably become the first side to get eliminated from the playoff race this year and one shouldn’t be asking why. Sunrisers Hyderabad are languishing at the bottom of the points table with only a solitary win out of seven matches.

They are set to play the remaining seven games in UAE and had to win all of them to make the playoffs. Their next game is against Delhi Capitals and a loss from here would potential kill their hopes of a playoff berth.

The franchise needs no less than a miracle to turn their fortunes around and book their playoffs berth. They will be playing their eighth match against Delhi Capitals on Wednesday at Dubai International Cricket Stadium and we look at their predicted playing XI.

Openers: David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha

Jonny Bairstow had a stellar outing during the first leg of IPL 2021. However, he has pulled out from the second leg, which comes as a big blow to the side. His absence, though, would make it easy for Warner to come back into the playing XI.

Warner failed to make a substantial contribution with the bat this season. He has only managed to score 193 runs in 6 matches at an average of 32.16. Wriddhiman is likely to partner with him. He has only played 2 games thus far, scoring 8 runs at an average of 4.00.

Middle-order: Manish Pandey, Kane Williamson, Kedar Jadhav and Abdul Samad

Manish Pandey scored a good amount of runs in the first half for SRH. However, those runs didn’t come at a great pace and it eventually cost SRH the match.

He isn’t in the best of form but should make it into the playing XI. Williamson, on the other hand, will lead the team for the second leg of the tournament. Williamson has played 4 matches in IPL 2021, scoring 128 runs at an average of 41.59.

Kedar Jadhav should bat at number five in the team. He is no longer a regular member of the Indian team but his experience should keep the team in good stead. Abdul Samad is likely to come at number six.

All-rounder: Mohammad Nabi

As for all-rounders, Mohammad Nabi is likely to get the nod ahead of Jason Holder. The Afghanistan spinner will add variety to the spin attack and has the ability to smack huge sixes lower down the order.

Bowlers: Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sandeep Sharma and T Natarajan

Rashid Khan will continue to lead the spin attack. He will be the biggest threat for Delhi Capitals on Tuesday. Rashid Khan has picked the most number of wickets by any SRH bowler against Delhi Capitals. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natarajan are deemed fit and will share the fast-bowling duties.

Both the bowlers got ruled out of the first leg of IPL 2021 due to respective injuries. Their experience will keep the fast bowling department in good stead. Sandeep Sharma should be the third seamer in the eleven.
