IPL 2021: 'Dhoni Bhai Always Keeps Telling Me That'- Ravindra Jadeja Opens Up About MS Dhoni's Advice

Ravindra Jadeja is regarded as one of the best all-rounders in world cricket. Jadeja has everything under his belt that makes him a great asset for team India across all three formats. Jadeja can bat exceptionally he can pick crucial wickets and is a gun fielder.
Notably, Ravindra Jadeja made his One Day Internationals and T20 International debut in 2009 under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. Also, he got his Test cap in 2012 that too under the leadership of legendary Indian Captain MS Dhoni.

In an interview with TOI, the 32-year-old told that he likes finishing the games for his team with the bat and now he has more self-belief in his batting.
“I like to finish matches and win it for my team. Now I have started to believe in myself and give more opportunities to myself to stay in the middle and take time. Whenever I get an opportunity to finish the game, I always take the game deep,” Ravindra Jadeja said
Further talking about legendary Indian captain MS Dhoni, Jadeja revealed the advice given to him by MSD that has helped him a lot. Ravindra Jadeja even stated that Dhoni has influenced him a lot in his career.
“Dhoni bhai always keeps telling me that whenever I get an opportunity, just think that like you are feeling the pressure, the bowler is feeling it as well. So don’t think just about yourself, but also the bowler. He (Dhoni) has been an amazing influence in my career,” Jadeja said.

“Yes, I definitely miss him because he was always guiding me in the right way. If I wasn’t doing the right thing on the field, he would come and talk to me, and tell me that I have to work some more on a particular aspect. He keeps talking to me, and our bond goes back 12 years. I do miss him.”

While talking about the difference in the captaincy of Former Indian skipper Dhoni and current Indian captain Virat Kohli. Jaddu said that Dhoni was a very calm personality on the other hand Kohli likes to be aggressive on the field.
“I think they are both different in their captaincy. I think Dhoni bhai is very calm, but Virat is more of an aggressive and positive captain on the field. They both have their own styles to lead the team.”
Meanwhile, Dhoni and Jadeja will once again reunite in the second half of the Indian Premier League 2021 which will begin on September 19 in UAE. He is also part of India’s T20 World Cup 2021 squad and MS Dhoni has been named as a mentor of the team.
