IPL 2021, Eliminator: Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kolkata Knight Riders – Toss Report

In the Eliminator of IPL 2021, Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Monday.

RCB are coming with a high of a last-ball win over Delhi Capitals. They finished third on the points table, tied with CSK at 18 points. This is also, not to forget, Virat Kohli’ last season as RCB’s skipper.

Eoin Morgan’s team pipped Mumbai Indians for net run rate and finished fourth with 14 points. They have made a commendable turnaround in their fortunes during the UAE leg, winning 5 of the 7 matches after winning just two during the India leg. KKR registered a massive 86-run win over Rajasthan Royals in their last league game.

On the head-to-head front, the two-time champions have a slight edge over RCB. KKR have defeated the Challengers in 15 matches while conceded 13 losses.

Both teams emerged victorious in one game each in their two league phase encounters this season: KKR bowlers blew away RCB’s strong batting line-up for 92 in Abu Dhabi; before that, in the Chennai match RCB smashed 204 runs, winning that game by 38 runs.
