Rohit Sharma also spoke about New Zealand players Jimmy Neesham, Adam Milne, and Trent Boult- who are part of the Mumbai Indians squad in IPL 2021. Sharma mentioned that it is good to have them in the squad.
“I am pretty sure they are all excited to get out on the park. They have been in quarantine for 7 days and I know how it feels when you come out the first day, it is nice to just get to breather fresh air. To get to be on the park and do what you love to do. I am sure those three guys are feeling the same. It is good to have Jimmy Neesham for the first time in MI squad.
“Adam Milne has been part of MI before as well, it is good to have him in the squad too. And of course, Trent (Boult), who played a big part for us in the last season. We expect nothing less from him this year as well,” Rohit Sharma further said.
Jimmy Neesham and Adam Milne were bought by Mumbai Indians during IPL 2021 auction. Trent Boult was spectacular with his bowling in IPL 2020. He scalped 25 wickets in 17 games in IPL 2020 and was the third-highest wicket-taker in the tournament.
