IPL 2021: KKR vs RCB- Weather Forecast and Pitch Report. The second match of the second leg of IPL 2021 will have Royal Challengers Bangalore take on Kolkata Knight Riders at Sheikh Zayed Stadium on Monday. The two teams are currently sitting at the opposite ends of the points table.

Royal Challengers Bangalore implemented their plans brilliantly in the first half of IPL 2021 in India. Be it batting, bowling or fielding, RCB were brilliant in all departments. In 7 games, they have managed to win on 5 occasions and thus find themselves at the third position on the points table.

Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers have kept the team in good stead. Glenn Maxwell is RCB’s leading run-scorer this season with 223 runs to his name in 7 matches at a strike rate of close to 150. AB de Villiers has 207 runs in 7 games at an average of over 50. Harshal Patel has been the star performer with the ball. He tops the bowling chart with 17 wickets in 7 matches at an average of 15.12.

RCB played their last game against Punjab Kings. KL Rahul played a sensational 91-run knock to help the team post a gigantic 191-run total in 20 overs. RCB could only manage to score 145 runs in their reply and as a result, lost the game by 34 runs. Ahead of the first game of their IPL 2021 campaign against KKR, RCB would be keen on getting back to winning ways.

K0kata Knight Riders, on the other hand, endured a rough phase in the India leg of IPL 2021. They managed to secure only 2 wins in 7 games and thus find themselves at the seventh position on the points table. It will be really difficult for them to make the playoffs from here as every match would be a must-win for them.

Inconsistent batting performances have led to their downfall this season. No KKR batsmen find themselves in the list of top 10 run-getters. Nitish Rana is their leading run-scorer, who has 201 runs in 7 games at an average of 28.71. Pat Cummins took the most wickets for KKR, however, he will be unavailable for the UAE leg. In his absence, Lockie Ferguson is likely to lead the pace-bowling attack. Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy are going to be the biggest bets in the spin bowling department. Both are in great form and the fans would be hoping that the duo makes full use of the conditions in the venues at UAE.

The 31st match of IPL 2021 between RCB and KKR is scheduled to be played at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium. If you look at the results of the previous games, both sides which have bowled and batted has won just about the same number of games. So toss isn’t likely to a major role. However, with due coming in the second innings, the teams would prefer to bowl after winning the toss.

The pitch will continue to be on the slower side. However, given that not much cricket is played of late here, one could expect the team to pile a strong total on the board. Having said that, you could expect seamers getting some movement in the initial overs of the innings.

Average 1st Inns scores 140
Average 2nd Inns scores 129

The hot and humid conditions in UAE should suggest that there is no possibility of rain. One could expect a good game of cricket. The average temperature will hover around 42-degree Celsius.
