IPL 2021: PBKS vs RR- Head to Head Records, Punjab Kings’ H2H Record Against Rajasthan Royals. Punjab Kings will take on Rajasthan Royals in the 32nd match of IPL 2021 on Tuesday at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Punjab Kings fared poorly in the India leg of the tournament and thus are languishing at sixth position on the points table. They have only managed to win 3 matches out of eight. Much like the previous year, KL Rahul and Mayank have done the bulk of scoring for them.

KL Rahul is currently the second-highest run-scorer in the tournament. He has made 331 runs in 7 matches at an average of 66.20. Mayank Agarwal, on the other hand, has scored 260 runs in 7 matches at an average of 43.33.

Barring these two, there isn’t a lot of contribution from the other batsmen. And this is the reason why they are guilty of having too many collapses after solid starts from the top.

The bowling unit has performed too well either. Mohammad Shami was the highest wicket-taker in the first leg. He picked 8 wickets in as many matches at an average of 29.25. Besides, Arshdeep Singh, Harpreet Brar and Ravi Bishnoi claimed 7, 4 and 4 wickets respectively. In a big blow to their ambitions, Riley Meredith and Jhye Richardson have made themselves unavailable for the UAE leg of the tournament. In their absence, Chris Jordan and Shami should lead the pace bowling unit.

Facing them are Rajasthan Royals, who are currently placed at fifth position on the points table with 3 wins in 7 matches. They have blown hot and cold this season and are yet to win two games in a row. Sanju Samson has scored the must of runs for them. He has 277 runs to his name in 7 matches at an average of 46.17. With the ball, Chris Morris has been the standout player for RR. He is currently the second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 14 wickets in 7 matches at an average of 16.00.

Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer will continue to be unavailable for them in the second leg. To dent their ambitions further, Jos Buttler has pulled out of the second phase of IPL 2021 due to personal reasons.

Rajasthan, however, have made some notable replacements. RR have roped in the likes of Glenn Phillips, Evin Lewis, Tabraiz Shamsi and Oshane Thomas. Add to that, Liam Livingstone, who is the form of his life, is also available for the UAE leg. It will be interesting to see which four overseas players should Rajasthan go with against Punjab Kings on Tuesday.
