Rajasthan Royals have arranged a live stadium show to launch their jersey for IPL 2021, beginning on the 9th of April. The Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur had a 3D Projection and light show as the Rajasthan Royals’ unveiled their elite jersey for the 14th edition of the lucrative T20 tournament. The inaugural champions will kickstart their campaign on the 12th of April at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai against the Punjab Kings.

An audio-visual show was broadcasted live from the iconic stadium to fans worldwide and the Rajasthan Royals’ players in their bio-bubble back in Mumbai. The team released a statement saying that the display reflected the stadium, city of Jaipur, Rajasthani culture and landscape, and all that which the fans hold dear to the heart.

It also paid tribute to Red Bull, which has helped the franchise move forward and grow rapidly by shaping new ideas. Speaking of the jersey, the colour blue dominates the T-shirt, unlike last year, when some of it was pink too. Their sponsors are KEI Wires and Cables, Red Bull, and EXPO 2020 Dubai.

The show was a celebration of everything that the Royals fans hold dear to their heart — the stadium, the city of Jaipur, the Rajasthani culture and landscape — as well as a reflection of how the franchise’s association with Red Bull is helping them move forward at rapid pace, bringing out new ideas and helping the team grow,” the Royals franchise said in a statement.

Meanwhile, the Royals will hope to reverse their fortunes under a new captain, Sanju Samson, who replaced Steve Smith. Rajasthan finished at the bottom of the points table last year, managing only six wins from 14 games. Seam-bowling all-rounder Chris Morris would be the most under focus as he fetched a whopping INR 16.25 crores.

He would also be in charge of their new-ball bowling attack in Jofra Archer’s absence, who is likely to miss the first four matches. The other players to watch out are skipper Sanju Samson, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Rahul Tewatia, Mustafizur Rahman, Shreyas Gopal, and Shivam Dube.
