The right-hander has been accumulating loads of runs from the 2019 season and he was one of the key factors in Delhi reaching the finals of the IPL 2020. His captaincy has been good as well despite Rishabh Pant replacing him during his injury.

Iyer top-scored in both the Delhi games that he has played so far and his crucial contributions have been getting the much-needed appreciation as well. He has been left out of the T20 Worldcup squad and has been named in the reserves which were very unfortunate as he was in the form of his life in his previous international fixture. Shimron Hetmyer scored an excellent fifty in the first phase of IPL 2021 that cemented his place in the playing XI and since then he has been playing some important knocks. In the previous game against Rajasthan Royals, he managed to find the gaps continuously and picked up some important boundaries in the end.

He finished with 28 off 16 balls which helped in setting up a decent total on board and he will be looking to make another big contribution to the side in the middle order. He has the ability to strike lusty blows at the back end and he will be itching to get on the crease.

Anrich Nortje is one of the best quicks going around in the world at the moment and he has been cranking up some serious pace in the last two IPL editions. He seemed to get help from the UAE pitches and has troubled the batters with his pace and accuracy.
