KKR vs RR: Rajasthan Royals (RR) Predicted Playing XI Against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)- IPL 2021 Match 54. Rajasthan Royals will be playing their last game of the league stage of IPL 2021 against Kolkata Knight Riders on Thursday. They haven’t had a great season, having only managed to win 5 games and thus are languishing at the seventh position on the points table. They need nothing less than a miracle to reach the playoffs from here. Though, that shouldn’t be in their mind right now.

Sanju Samson and Co. would be also concerned about their next game against KKR. They have won a game against them this season and would be confident of beating them once again. Ahead of an exciting clash, we look at their predicted playing XI of RR.

Openers: Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ewin Lewis

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ewin Lewis should open the innings for the team. The duo has stitched some crucial partnerships in the second leg of the competition. They couldn’t produce one in the last game but would be hopeful of giving a great start on Thursday.

Jaiswal has 249 runs in 9 matches at a strike rate of 150.91. Ewin Lewis, on the other hand, has 151 runs in 5 matches at a strike rate of 162.37.

Middle Order: Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube, Glenn Phillips and David Miller

Sanju Samson has been the most successful batsman for Rajasthan Royals this year. However, the skipper hasn’t made great returns in the last few games. His scores in the last three games read 3 (6), 28 (24) and 19 (15).

Shivam Dube marked his return in the second leg with an outstanding knock against CSK. He couldn’t replicate a similar knock in the last innings against Mumbai Indians. Glenn Phillips got out with an unplayable delivery in the last game for 4 runs off 13 balls.

It was only his second innings and given that he played an unbeaten 14-run knock in the game prior to that, the RR management is likely to persist with him in the playing XI. David Miller too should be persisted at number six.

All-rounders: Rahul Tewatia and Shreyas Gopal

Rahul Tewatia picked three wickets against Chennai Super Kings. He didn’t get to bowl in the last over, however. His ability to contribute with both bat and ball makes a vital pick in the playing eleven.

Shreyas Gopal bowled just one over on his return to the side in the last game. He conceded nine runs in one over in that game.

Bowlers: Chetan Sakariya, Kuldip Yadav and Muztafizur Rahman

Chetan Sakariya and Muztafizur Rahman have been the best bets in the pace-bowling department. Both Sakariya and Rahman have exhibited vital spells throughout the tournament.

Both are once again likely to share the fast bowling duties. Kuldip Yadav made his debut in IPL in the last game against MI. He bowled conceded 16 runs in 2 overs but couldn’t pick a wicket.
