For Match 47 of IPL 2021, the struggling Rajasthan Royals (RR) will meet the in-form Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.

CSK became the first team to qualify for the playoffs this season with victory in their previous game over Sunrisers Hyderabad. MS Dhoni’s side have acquired 18 points and are currently on a 4-match winning streak in the UAE leg.

Sanju Samson’s team, on the other hand, have lost their last three matches. RR, who are placed seventh in the points table, have 4 wins in 11 games; a loss on Saturday would virtually end their playoffs dreams.

CSK have a dominating head-to-head record over RR. The 3-time titleholders have defeated the inaugural champions in 15 matches and have conceded losses in 9 encounters.

Moeen Ali starred in CSK’s victory over Samson’s team earlier in the season at the Wankhede. The left-hander scored 26 runs off 20 balls, before picking a three-wicket haul while conceding only 7 runs with his off-spin.
