RCB vs KKR: Weather Forecast And Pitch Report of Sharjah Cricket Stadium- IPL 2021 Eliminator. Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the Eliminator match of IPL 2021 on Monday at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Royal Challengers Bangalore are coming into the contest on the back of a seven-wicket win over Delhi Capitals. On a good batting surface in Dubai, RCB bowlers didn’t make great returns with the ball. They went for quite a few runs as Delhi Capitals notched 164 runs in the first innings. Siraj picked 2 for 25 runs in his four overs, however, the other bowlers proved a bit expensive.

RCB didn’t make a great start with the bat either. Both Virat Kohli (4) and Devdutt Padikkal (0 off 1) went back to the hut inside 2.1 overs. AB de Villiers chipped in with 26 off 26 before getting out in the 10th over. Delhi Capitals at the stage were the favourites to clinch the game. However, Glenn Maxwell and Srikar Bharat had other ideas.

The duo stitched an unbeaten 111-run partnership to guide their side to a seven-wicket win. Glenn Maxwell scored 51 off 33 balls, Srikar Bharat scored 78 off 52 deliveries. Needing 5 runs off the last ball, Shahbaz Ahmed hit a six to help RCB cross the finishing line.

On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders finished at fourth position on the points table with 7 wins in 14 matches. They just managed to pip Mumbai Indians to reach the qualifiers due to a higher net run rate. They won their last game against Rajasthan Royals by an 86-run margin.

Shubman Gill and Venkatesh Iyer stitched a 79-run opening partnership to set the tone. Gill managed to score his second consecutive half-century, while Iyer made 38 off 35 balls. Crucial contributions from the middle over eventually helped KKR post 171 in the first innings.

Shivam Mavi and Lockie Ferguson ran through RR’s bowling unit in the second innings. Both the bowlers picked seven wickets combined to bundle RR out for just 85 runs in only 16.1 overs. Mavi picked 4 for 21 runs in 4 overs, while Ferguson picked three wickets for 18 runs in his four overs.

The Eliminator match of the IPL 2021 is scheduled to be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders on Monday at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Unlike previous seasons, the pitch has behaved a lot differently this year. The deck has been really slow and the ball isn’t coming on nicely to the bat.

Due to the slowness of the surface, the batsmen are facing difficulty in making great connections. Reaching the 150-run mark is taking a lot of effort from the batsmen. MI played their last game against DC here in Sharjah and could only manage to score 129 runs in the first innings.

Average 1st Inns scores 149
Average 2nd Inns scores 131

Sharjah is expected to be hot and humid. The conditions here should suggest that there is no possibility of rain. One could expect a good game of cricket. The average temperature will hover around 42-degree Celsius.
