Delhi Capitals are currently busy triggering a collapse of Mumbai Indias’ esteemed batting order in Chennai. Leg-spinner Amit Mishra has stood in the forefront of it as he struck twice in the same over to send back Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma in successive deliveries. It was also Steve Smith taking consecutive catches to affect the dismissal.

Amit Mishra, who got the nod for the clash against the Mumbai Indians against Lukman Meriwala, has fully justified his selection. The veteran invited the drive from captain Rohit Sharma, who could only slice it at long-on to Steve Smith. He went on to induce Hardik Pandya as well, who holed out to Smith at the same region for a first-ball duck. Currently, he has also removed Kieron Pollard, with his figures reading 3-0-19-3.

Delhi Capitals lost the toss earlier; however, they have done an incredible job by picking wickets to keep the Mumbai Indians in check. The runners-up of IPL 2020 carried out two changes, drafting Shimron Hetmyer for Chris Woakes and Amit Mishra for Lukman Meriwala. On the other hand, Mumbai Indians have chosen to field only three overseas players, swapping Andre Milne for Jayant Yadav.
