RCB all-rounder claimed a magnificent hat-trick for his team against Mumbai Indians in match 39 of IPL 2021. Notably, this is also the first hat-trick in IPL 2021. Harshal Patel had been holding the Purple Cap this year when the IPL 2021 UAE leg began as he had done exceptionally well in the first leg of the tournament.

Mumbai Indians took on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 39th match in IPL 2021 as they won the toss in Dubai and they elected to field first. However, RCB skipper Virat Kohli was once again on fire with the bat as he smashed another scintillating half-century and a half-century from Glenn Maxwell made sure RCB finished on a high score of 165 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.
