Ishan Kishan smacked a marvellous knock of 84 runs off just 32 balls in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2021. The Mumbai Indians opener shattered the fastest century of IPL 2021 in just 16 balls. The left-handed batsman slammed 11 fours and 4 sixes during his blistering knock.

Mumbai Indians take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in their final game of group stage at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. MI opted to bat first in the match. The Rohit Sharma-led side needs to score 250+ total and defeat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 171 runs or more to make an entry to playoffs.

Watch- Umran Malik Dismisses Ishan Kishan At 84

Ishan Kishan was totally on fire from the start of the innings. It looks like he will reach his century but was dismissed by Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer Umran Malik. The right-arm pacer outplayed Kishan on the 1st ball of the 9th over. Kishan got an edge on a delivery outside off-stump which was easily caught by wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha.

Ishan Kishan’s knock sent Twitter on fire. Cricket fans shared many tweets to praise the wicket-keeper batsman for his stupendous knock in the match. In the previous game against Rajasthan Royals too, Kishan smacked an unbeaten half-century off 25 balls.

Before Kishan, Rohit Sharma lost his wicket for 18 runs off 13 balls. One-down Hardik Pandya also lost his wicket after becoming a victim of Jason Holder. Currently, MI have reached a total of 155-5 in 13 overs.

Kolkata Knight Riders bagged a huge victory by 86 runs in their previous game against Rajasthan Royals. This affected the Mumbai Indians’ playoffs hopes. Most MI fans hoped for KKR’s loss against Rajasthan Royals so that MI can surpass KKR in the points table with a victory against SRH.
