The right-handed batsman also copped a blow on his crotch in the current encounter against the Mumbai Indians in Delhi; however, he let out a smile.

The left-arm seamer bowled to Rohit Sharma, who was beaten and the ball went straight to Sanju Samson behind the stumps. The 26-year old struck 42 off 27 balls, laced with five boundaries and shared a vital 49-ball 57 run stand with Shivam Dube. Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal gave their side a flying start, stitching a 66-run opening partnership after Samson lost the toss. Nevertheless, despite losing Rohit Sharma relatively early, Mumbai are well in control of the match.
