Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are currently squaring off with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 6th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Chepauk stadium. The hosts’ captain MS Dhoni hogged the headlines in the first innings of the match despite some spectacular innings from the other CSK batters.
It’s fair to say that crowd mostly was there to witness something special from MS Dhoni and they got exactly that. Although it was a short stay, the keeper batter made sure that he makes money of the spectators worth. A staggering start from the openers Ruturaj Gaikwad (57) and Devon Conway (47) allowed the CSK’s middle order to play freely.

The CSK skipper came to bat in the last over and made sure that he didn’t waste time. He sent the first delivery he faced into orbit to open his account. If this was not enough, he then smacked another big six to make the crowd go wild. However, not only the people in the stands, his teammates in the dugout too were left amazed by his power-hitting as they stood up and applauded him.
