Royal Challengers Bangalore superstar Virat Kohli, on Saturday (May 6), added yet another feather to his illustrious cap. The right-handed batsman created history during the match against Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Virat Kohli became the first-ever batsman to score 7,000 runs in the history of IPL. And fittingly, he achieved a record at the very ground where he began playing his cricket before making it big in the international arena. The boy from Delhi had a forgettable campaign in the IPL last year where he managed just 341 runs from 16 matches at an average of 22.73.
