five-time winners of the IPL Mumbai Indians lost as many as 10 games en route to finishing last in IPL 2022. Their worst season in the IPL was that one. Mumbai kept 16 players and released 14 players before the IPL 2023 auction.

Due to their lack of performance in the T20 circuit, some of the players released by MI stand a good chance of receiving zero offers at the upcoming auction.

Tymal Mills fell short of the high expectations placed on him during his return IPL season. Tymal Mills, who cost the Mumbai Indians INR 1.50 crore, took 6 wickets in 5 games while bowling with an economy rate of 11.18. Even if a bowler is an expert in death overs, an economy rate of 10 or above is totally unacceptable.
