Holder was purchased by LSG at the IPL 2022 mega-auction for a high sum of $8.75 crore. The former West Indies captain enjoyed a respectable season for the KL Rahul-led club, despite the fact that he didn’t exactly light up the IPL stage this year.

Holder took 14 wickets in 12 games, averaging slightly under 28 and a 9.42 economy rate. Because LSG changed his batting stance frequently throughout the match, Holder only faced 44 balls and amassed 58 runs.

Other teams may be interested in the West Indies all-rounder now that LSG has released Holder. Holder can tonk lusty smashes with his long levers and always poses a real danger with his pace bowling.

West Indies’ Nicholas Pooran, who was purchased by SRH at the IPL 2022 mega-auction at a huge sum of 10.75 crores, was unable to live up to his high price and was fired. Pooran managed a total of 306 in the 14 games he played in the IPL this year, with just two half-centuries to his credit.

Other teams may be interested in the Caribbean left-hander now that Pooran has been released by SRH. Pooran, one of cricket’s most proficient strikers, has the ability to win games in the shortest format.

Additionally, in addition to being a top wicketkeeper, he is a multifaceted player who clubs long to have on their teams.

Prior to the 15th edition of the league, Sunrisers Hyderabad shelled out a record INR 7.75 crores to recruit West Indies all-rounder Romario Shepherd. The 27-year-old only got to feature in three matches last season as a result of the management’s decision to not use the player with their club.

He took three wickets while putting up a strike rate of 141.46 while scoring 58 runs. Because of his unfavorable economy rate of 10.89, he was released before the upcoming auction.

Although the Caribbean all-rounder is not anticipated to receive the same level of buzz as the previous season, Shepherd may still command a premium over his base price due to his superior all-around abilities.
