Sanjay Manjrekar On KL Rahul

Sanjay Manjrekar was having an interaction with Star Sports and was asked about KL Rahul. “When you look at Lucknow Super Giants, they are secure with their openers, high-quality openers. If KL Rahul has a great season, where his strike rate is also as good as his aggregate runs, they will be a dangerous side,” said Sanjay Manjrekar.

“Down the order, they have got a Deepak Hooda but he is not really your No. 3. So can be said about Stoinis, where they seem to have assigned a role for him to go later in the order. It didn’t work too much but he is somebody who can be a good No. 5 or No. 6,” he added.

Exciting Auction on Cards

LSG would sense that they missed an opportunity last time to win the championship due to not having a strong middle order. The team needs someone like Ben Stokes, who holds one end and let other batters bat around him as we all witnessed how he helped England in winning in the T20 WC.

It is assumed that this time there would be a lot of doubleheaders as English Summer is going to commence from 1st June. The Franchises will have to be spot-on with their selection as last time quite a few England players opted out of the tournament.
