Anil Kumble and Parthiv Patel Named Upcoming Indian Premier League Superstars:
Jio Cinema, the IPL’s official streaming partner this year, organized a panel discussion before the event that included Chris Gayle, Anil Kumble, Parthiv Patel, Robin Uthappa, Scott Styris, and Aakash Chopra, among others. All of these previous greats also discussed the players who are most likely to become the IPL’s future superstars during the conversation.
Intriguingly, when asked to give his choice among bowlers, former Indian Test captain Anil Kumble endorsed Punjab King’s speedster Arshdeep Singh to become well-known, but in the category of hitters, Anil Kumble chose Mumbai Indians wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan. Gayle supported the pair’s aspirations to become well-known and concurred with Kumble’s decisions.
Umran Malik was a different bowler whose name Parthiv brought up for discussion. At last year’s competition, the 23-year-old Malik dazzled everyone with his lightning-quick pace, and he eventually went on to represent India in white-ball cricket. He believes that MI’s young batter Tilak Varma has what it takes to rule the field. His opinions were supported by Uthappa, who concurred that Tilak had the potential to become a future superstar.
